UK Winter Tyre Requirements
England: No law requiring winter tyres
Scotland: Some areas request them in winter (especially Highlands)
Wales: Not mandatory
Recommendation: Winter tyres if regularly driving Scotland Highlands or Welsh mountains in 0-5°C conditions.
